Refined Spirits is a fictional brand that distributes 7-piece cocktail kits including the necessary ingredients and tools to make classic cocktails.
The overall look of this brand was inspired by the class and sophistication often associated with traditional cocktails, such as manhattans. The vintage personality of this brand was carried throughout all elements in this kit, from the design of the interior packaging boxes and labels to the actual design and function of the kit’s box.
The box is able to be displayed on a bookshelf as a book would be displayed, complete with the label of the kit’s drink on the “spine” of the box.
The custom built box was built in such a way to resemble books.
The packaging for the tools inside of the kit were printed with a flatbed printer to add the glossy spot UV varnish to the illustrations.
The box was hand built with plywood, accompanied with vintage-styled hardware to further capture the classic style of the brand.
