Musync is a fictional music streaming app providing a diverse content library of sensory-friendly music aimed at users with sensory sensitivity.

Musync is meant to provide users with a content library of music tailored to their sensory needs and preferences. The name “Musync” was derived from the words “music” and “synchronization.” The reasoning behind this name was inspired by the brand’s mission of stabilizing the union of one’s emotional state through music.

The app provides music categorized by four distinct scenarios where overstimulation might be a trigger: bed time, a hypersensitive overload episode, focus mode, and creative mode. Because children and young adults primarily make up the target audience of users with hypersensitivity, the overall layout and functionality of the interface was designed to be very user-friendly focused.

This concept was developed in collaboration with Celine Isaacs, Caitlin Scheib, Pui Lam Wan, and Katherine Crater.
